In a very short time, Brett Ratner has established himself as one of Hollywood's most successful directors with credits such as Money Talks, The Rush Hour franchise, The Family Man, Red Dragon, After the Sunset and X-Men: The Last Stand. Ratner has shattered several box office records and has grossed more than $1.5 billion worldwide with just eight feature films. His newest film Tower Heist will be released in November 2011 and stars Ben Stiller, Eddie Murphy, Matthew Broderick and Téa Leoni. He has directed more than 100 music videos for artists including Madonna, Mariah Carey, Jessica Simpson, Jay-Z, Miley Cyrus, Wu-Tang and many others. Awards include an MTV Video Music Award for directing Madonna's "Beautiful Stranger," an MTV Movie Award for Rush Hour 2 and a TONY Award for producing Def Poetry on Broadway.
Ratner is currently on the Boards of Best Buddies and Chrysalis, receiving the Spirit of Chrysalis Award for his dedication and leadership in helping economically disadvantaged and homeless individuals change their lives through jobs. Ratner is also the youngest member of the Board of Trustees of the Simon Wiesenthal Center & Museum of Tolerance.
