Nicole (Wei-Tung) Ling is a teen activist and a civic journalist who writes about politics, movements and human rights concerns in China and SEA (South East Asian countries). She is the Founder and Executive Director of CULTUREDU FLUENT, a nonprofit organization working to improve interracial relationship conflicts, immigration problems and identity crisis issues, which are all serious public concerns worldwide, through a range of media and cross-culture communication.

Nicole works with the New Taipei City Government and the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology University to lead the New Immigrants Next Generation Broadcast and Editing" project for rural and suburban local schools in Taiwan. By educating students about video editing, critical thinking, public speaking and world cultures, the project aims to help immigrants adjust to life in a new country. On a global scale, Nicole collaborates with teen leaders from the Philippines, India and the United States to uplift Asian communities and boost cultural exchange among teens.

Nicole was the European Forum Alpbach Taiwan representative and scholarship recipient, and received The Prudential Spirit of Community Dedication Award. Nicole is currently working to publish a book about the power of teen discourse, and plans to launch a business that will create media to diminish political polarization.
