HANNAH WEITZER

Hannah has over 12 years of professional experience with grassroots and international NGOs in the Middle East, South Asia, and the U.S., focusing on youth education for human rights, conflict transformation, and social justice. She is passionate about providing opportunities for young people to learn about each other and with each other, changing the way they see themselves and the world, and creating spaces for them to be agents of change in their local and global communities. Most recently, as Girl Advocates Programme Manager at the Malala Fund, Hannah led a new initiative to amplify voices of young rising leaders from the Global South to become powerful advocates for free, safe and quality education for all girls both locally and globally. Previously, she ran virtual youth exchanges as Program Director with Global Nomads Group to engage youth and educators around the world in cross-cultural dialogue, exchange, and civic engagement. She also spent five years working with grassroots, bi-national Israeli-Palestinian youth organizations.
