ELIZABETH J. ESTROFF
As Senior Vice President of Communications at the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®), Elizabeth J. Estroff oversees communications and media relations for the ASPCA, including the planning, development, and implementation of the organization’s external and internal communications strategies.
Since joining the ASPCA in 2010, Ms. Estroff and her team have elevated the visibility of the ASPCA’s lifesaving work through innovative communications programs across traditional and social media. Ms. Estroff has overseen the team’s integrated communications efforts — from documentary films to major media features – bringing critical attention to and public engagement around key animal welfare issues. Ms. Estroff also oversees internal communications efforts to develop staff engagement and education programs, and is responsible for communications programs that provide resources to animal welfare professionals to help them save more lives.
Prior to joining the ASPCA, Ms. Estroff served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (MSLO). There, she directed and managed corporate and internal communications, public relations, events and brand messaging for the publicly traded lifestyle company. During her nearly nine-year tenure, Ms. Estroff served as MSLO’s chief spokesperson, managing relationships with business, financial, and trade media.
Before joining MSLO, Ms. Estroff was Director of Communications at Ziff Davis Media, a technology and Internet media company, overseeing corporate and financial public relations, internal communications, and research. Ms. Estroff started her career as a journalist and research analyst, authoring reports and newsletters on emerging trends in marketing and Internet advertising. Ms. Estroff received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA.
