TATIANA POLADKO
Tatiana is a founder of TeenSHARP, an organization on a mission to dramatically expand the pipeline of diverse top talent. Over the past 10 years Tatiana worked directly with hundreds of students and parents in Delaware, Philadelphia, and South Jersey helping prepare talented African American and Latino students to thrive at our nation's top colleges. Through her work at TeenSHARP, Tatiana has become a vocal advocate for access to opportunity for historically underserved students unapologetically calling out and working to eliminate barriers that young people and their parents face. Tatiana began her professional career working at United Nations in her native Ukraine spearheading youth policy initiatives and organizing hundreds of youth leaders to work on key socioeconomic priorities for Ukraine. Tatiana also served a term as a President of the European Youth Parliament in Ukraine and worked as the founding manager of the Jumpstart early learning program in Camden, NJ. Tatiana earned a Master’s in Public Administration degree from Rutgers University while on the prestigious Edmund Muskie fellowship for professional studies. She subsequently earned another Master’s in Sociology specializing in Sociology in education. She is now a PhD candidate in Sociology at Temple University where she studies the fascinating history of parent involvement in the US and the world. Tatiana lives in Wilmington, DE with her husband Atnre Alleyne and their infant son and a four-year-old daughter.
