OLANREWAJU ONIYITAN

Olanrewaju is a skilled consultant, entrepreneur, author, speaker & advocate, focusing on creating wealth, jobs, incomes and economic growth. Lanre founded and leads W-Holistic Business Solutions. She also serves as the Executive Director for the firm’s social impact projects: SEED (Sustainable Education & Enterprise Development), Future4Kids Africa and Acceler8 Hub. She began her career at KPMG Professional Services in the Business Advisory and Risk Management Units. She currently sits on the board of Jessefield Microfinance Bank and The Neo Child Initiative. She also has extensive experience as an International Development expert working with organisations like UKaid - Department for International Development (DFID), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, OXFAM, amongst others. She has worked closely with international and local private sector actors, federal & state governments, development agencies, academia, membership-based organisations & non-government organisations in a wide range of sectors. She has worked on several notable international development and entrepreneurship projects such as: Pro-Poor Growth and Promotion of Employment in Nigeria Programme (SEDIN); Business Innovation Facility (BIF); Developing Effective Private Education Nigeria (DEEPEN); Market Development in the Niger Delta (MADE); Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies (Stanford SEED); Growth and Employment in States 3 (GEMS3); Enhancing Nigerian Advocacy for a Better Business Environment (ENABLE); Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF); World Bank/Growth and Employment (GEM) - Business Innovation & Growth (BIG); Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria (YouWIN); amongst others. Lanre is a 2019 Obama Africa Leader and the recipient of several awards and recognitions including Edu-Gladiator Award (from Carisma4U Educational Foundation) and Award of Excellence in Entrepreneurship Development (from the Lagos State Ministry of Wealth Creation & Employment). Under her leadership, her project (SEED) received an Award from the UKaid funded project - DEEPEN. Based on her contribution in the enterprise and social space, she has been featured on various media, panels, seminars and conferences. She is the author of the books: THE TWIN JOBS CHALLENGE and MINIPRENEUR: Children with Bright Ideas. Lanre loves learning, thinking and creating innovative and sustainable solutions to complex global issues.
