Project: The HE[ART]LAND Fellowship

The HE[ART]LAND Fellowship stands as Heartland Arts KC’s central program, annually selecting six local performing artists — ranging from actors, comedians, musicians and dancers — via an online audition process. These fellows convene weekly for 12 weeks, delving into Kansas City's pertinent policy issues. Under guided mentorship, they engage in a creative journey, culminating in an original interdisciplinary performance. This unique showcase blends their insights with entertainment to engage and educate audiences.
