OUT IN THE OPEN. is founded on Electrazie's personal journey as a trans woman embracing openness in Malawi. Electrazie designed the show and podcast to shed light on the discrimination, stigma and adversities encountered by the queer community while also celebrating the beauty of queerness. The project’s goal is to establish a dedicated platform that not only highlights these challenges but also fosters representation, providing a safe and nurturing space where queer individuals can feel embraced and secure.
