WAFF is proud to announce the 2022 Youth To The Front Fund “Frontliners” representing 7 states in the USA and 15 countries on 6 continents.
Carefully selected from hundreds of applicants, these Frontliners, aged 18 – 29 years-old are using their creativity and infusing science, art, tech and social justice into their project design and overall implementation to collectively reimagine new possibilities and solutions that positively impact and shape future generations.
With our call to action to address racial and systemic injustice, Frontliners projects focus on:
Civic & Community Engagement, Education Equity, Climate Justice, and Criminal Justice Reform. Through storytelling practices that illuminate Black and indigenous frameworks, our 2022 Frontliners are creating safe spaces for LGBTQ folk, supporting campaigns around disability justice, and using their voice and advocacy to raise awareness around gender equity.
