Giuliana is a human unlearning the life imposed on her, towards the life that she wants to live. She has studied and worked in a variety of fields including business administration, social entrepreneurship, executive and team coaching, storytelling, innovation and the creative and performing arts. For seven years, Giuliana worked for transnational companies until she decided to embark on a career as a entrepreneur and business consultant in the innovation sector. Originally from Perú, she spent three years traveling the world, from the United States, Israel, China and Indonesia, to Thailand, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy and India, learning from the globe’s best innovation and technology ecosystems. She returned to Perú to apply what she learned to continue developing companies and the nation.
Giuliana is a United Nations Development Programme Fellow and an international speaker on the topics of executive coaching, open innovation, the Femtech market, and Executive Deceleration, her methodology on building businesses in connection with nature. She gave a TEDx talk titled, “Destruir para Construir,” which translates to “Destroy to Build,” and in 2018, was recognized as the World Winner of the MIT Innovation & Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, and by El Comercio Perú as Woman of the Year.
She is currently the CEO of Miah, the first AI-powered virtual coach that helps Spanish-speaking women improve their health and sexual well-being. She finds purpose in removing the taboo of sexuality for millions of women in Spanish-speaking countries. She is also the founder of #Empoderatec, a technological platform that helps to include more women in virtual decoding to improve their quality of life.
Giuliana lives in Spain, but Perú will always be her home. She is passionate to continue supporting Peruvian and Latin entrepreneurs in their journey.
