As the Industry Director of Apps at Google, Imma is passionate about the role app and mobile plays in elevating user experience to create connection instead of one-time transactions. In her partnerships with Fortune 200 organizations, she has seen firsthand brands unlock next level user loyalty when they provide a unique value exchange.
Imma is a sought-after industry thought leader as a result of her fresh perspective grounded in research and insights, on how brands and companies can innovate to enhance the consumer journey. From her vantage point, disruption is not something to simply be navigated but fully embraced to thrive in a highly competitive landscape. She has spoken at Mobile Growth Summit, Tech Up for Women, FemHack, and was featured in App Annie’s 2021 State of Mobile report. She interviewed Walmart’s Chief Product Officer on their super app, and wrote a piece on how users’ app experience translates to brand love.
Originally from Barcelona, Imma has worked in many global markets including Ireland and the UK and has an appreciation for the immense complexity and accompanying opportunity on the front edge of the global market. She brings her background in Retail and Performance Marketing to the work she does with the startup ecosystem in Barcelona and much of the rest of Europe, where she serves as a mentor and connector for new players in that space.
Imma serves as a mentor for We Are Family Foundation’s Three Dot Dash, a program designed to grow the next generation of leaders by developing and empowering teens around the world. Outside of work, she can be found planning her next trip, working out, rediscovering art, and taking in everything New York City has to offer. Imma lives in the city with her husband and two boys, where they recently relocated after 10 years in California.
