BEN KASSOY
Ben is the Editor-in-chief of DoSomething.org, overseeing the branding and messaging for the world's largest not-for-profit exclusively for young people and social change. He is also the coauthor of eight books and has written for the websites of Elle, Teen Vogue, GQ, Glamour, Women's Health, Details, and a host of others.
Ben’s speaking appearances include a TEDx Talk (NYC, 2016); the keynote commencement address at his high school alma mater (Bexley, OH, 2015); a panel at SWSXEdu (Austin, 2014); and the class oration at his graduation from Emory University (Atlanta, 2011).
Outside the US, Ben has served as a writer-in-residence at the Munakata University of Education (Fukuoka, Japan, 2015) and the African Leadership Academy (Johannesburg, South Africa, 2018).At the African Leadership Academy, Ben helped create a web magazine celebrating the work of young writers and artists at the academy, which is home to students from 40 different countries around the continent.
