DAN HILFERTY

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Dan Hilferty graduated high school from The Episcopal Academy in 2008. Dan went on to attend the University of Scranton's Kania School of Management. While earning his bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Dan also served as team captain for the University of Scranton Men's Basketball team. Upon graduating college, Dan was employed by CAM Insurance Group in Wayne, PA. With a yearning to serve the community, Dan founded the Learning Academy of Basketball (LAB) in 2014. The LAB, a 501c3 based in Philadelphia, uses basketball as a conduit to drive youth development and community involvement in neighborhoods around the world. The LAB currently runs programming in the United States and throughout the Caribbean. Dan found his home at Not Impossible Labs in search of the perfect intersection between business and philanthropy. Dan currently resides in Venice, CA, and leads the Business Strategy & Development team for Not Impossible Labs, who creates "technology for the sake of humanity".
