JERRY ODILI

Jerry is a social entrepreneur and the founder of Tech ME, a nonprofit organization leveraging technology to solve social issues. With a degree in Computer Science, he started his career in banking before moving into the nonprofit sector in 2013. His passion for technology and social development led him to start Tech ME which key focus areas are the education and economic empowerment of youth, women, and girls. Jerry has been recognized for his works both locally and internationally. In 2017, his community development project, Smart Girls, won him the U.S. Consulate Carrington Fellowship award of Fellow of The Year. In the same year, he was selected as one of the 100 Brightest Young Minds in Africa. Last year, the Ifelodun Local Government in Lagos, Nigeria, recognized him for his contribution to girls' STEM education. Jerry has more than 7 years’ experience in project management working in the nonprofit sector. He has worked with the U.S. Mission, Global Philanthropy Alliance, and a host of other international partners to implement projects in Nigeria. Jerry has developed and implemented education and entrepreneurship programs that have directly impacted more than 3,000 people. Jerry is also a Cordes Fellow and an Obama Foundation African Leader.
