MARISA MIODOSKY
Marisa is Gender Equality Strategy Leader for the Buenos Aires City Government. Originally from the province of San Juan in Argentina, Marisa became a political scientist at the University of Buenos Aires. She won the Fulbright scholarship and received her Master’s in Sustainable International Development from the Heller School for Social Policy at Brandeis University in the United States. For over fifteen years, Marisa has worked on social development issues such as urban and rural poverty, youth, and migrations in civil society and international organizations, advising organizations including the World Bank, the Inter-American Bank and the Foreign Office. Since 2016, she has worked for the government of the City of Buenos Aires, where she leads the City Gender Equality Strategy and has developed numerous projects and policies towards the progress of women.
