SARAH BEARDMORE
Sarah is a Senior Strategy and Policy Specialist at the Global Partnership for Education where she coordinates GPE's Country Engagement and Policy team. At GPE, she recently led the design and launch of Education Out Loud, the largest fund supporting civil society advocacy, transparency and social accountability in education - over the next 4 years it will invest $55 million to support civic mobilization for education rights in 60+ of the world's least industrially developed countries. At GPE, Sarah has helped to mobilize billions for education through its three replenishment campaigns, represented GPE in negotiations on the Sustainable Development Goal for education and now in the global education response to COVID 19. Sarah has over 15 years of experience in policy advocacy, working with civil society networks around the world to strengthen political will and monitoring of policies to address education, child survival, economic opportunity, indigenous rights and gender equality.
