UADAMEN IMOUKHUEDE ILEVBAOJE

Uadamen is Head of Tracka, a community tracking platform developed by BudgIT Foundation in 2014.

In his role, he engages with citizens to create empowerment programs that allow communities in Nigeria to take ownership of government projects executed with public funds. He has worked on several projects funded by Open Society Initiatives for West Africa, OSIWA, UNDEF, MAVC and Omidyar Networks to improve citizens access to government and drive reforms in key government institutions at Federal and state levels.

Uadamen was selected as one of the 2019 Obama Foundation Leaders Africa, recognized as one of 200 emerging leaders from across the continent exploring new ways to take on the biggest challenges in their communities and change their world. Also in 2019, Uadamen was awarded by the Association Citoyens des Rues in Morocco for building capacities of youth to monitor public finance.

Uadamen aspires to see a future where community projects across Africa will be properly executed for the good of Africans.
